Meet our Panelist.

 Abby Frase, HR Learning and Development Manager

Ohio Department of Medicaid

Abbie is the Human Resources Learning and Development Manager at the Ohio Department of Medicaid. She also serves as the chairperson of ADA Training Work Group for Ohio's Disability Inclusion Program. She has designed, developed, and presented training programs for the Ohio Department of Medicaid, as well as, the State's Disability Inclusion Program, DisAbility Jobs Summit, Ohio Youth Leadership Forum, Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD), and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS). Abbie is a certified in True Colors and Windmills Attitudinal Training. Prior to her current position, Abbie served as a disability claims adjudicator and training specialist at OOD and held social services roles at ODJFS. She has more than 23 years of experience in State government. She earned a Master of Education and Human Resources: Organizational Learning, Performance and Change from Colorado State University and a Bachelor’s in Human Services Management from Ohio University. Abbie is an active member of the State's Talent and Development Community and the State of Ohio Training Association.

Adam Zaller, Vice President Learning and Development

Cardinal Health

As Vice President of Learning and Development, Adam leads the enterprise learning and development organization for Cardinal Health. The center of excellence provides learning and development solutions for the 50,000 employees of Cardinal Health. Ada, has over 15 years of leadership responsibility in Fortune 1000 companies and running change management initiatives.  He has a successful track record of transforming organizations through the implementation of talent strategies aimed at talent development, succession management and engagement programs. Adam is a dynamic leader who has built multiple talent development organizations and is skilled at the use of data & analytics to shape organizational development & design initiatives

Jennifer Kernosky, Vice President Talent

NiSource

Jennifer has been in utilities human resources for over 20 years. She is currently part of the human resources leadership team as VP of Talent.  Jennifer has responsibility for the talent organization, encompassing, change management, organization effectiveness, talent acquisition and talent strategy. Most recently Jennifer led the human capital aspects of the NiNext transformation efforts and served as the HR Officer on the emergency response team for the COVID-19 pandemic. She joined NiSource in 2012, beginning her career at American Electric Power where she served in human resources and organizational development roles. Jennifer lives in Hilliard, OH, with her husband Steve and her twin sons. She serves on the Simon Kenton Council board for Boy Scouts of America and on the COSI Community Board. Jennifer earned a bachelor’s degree in management/business from Siena Heights University.
