Please join us for our May Webinar: How to be a StigmaFree Workplace

    Event Description:

Mental health stigma refers to the negative attitudes, beliefs, and stereotypes that society holds about individuals who experience mental health conditions. It is a form of social discrimination and prejudice that can lead to various negative consequences for those affected by mental health issues. Learn how through StigmaFree we can combat mental health stigma by promoting public awareness campaigns, education, advocacy, and holding open conversations about mental health. Reducing stigma is crucial for creating a more inclusive and supportive society that allows individuals to seek help, access appropriate treatment, and lead fulfilling lives.

schools and shelters, as well as connecting returning citizens from the prison

system to community resources. While working at United Way and her time in

health care, she became more heavily involved in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

space, emphasizing the concept of Belonging.
